Where your equity actually goes
On a $500,000 sale a 6% commission is roughly $30,000 leaving your side of the table. This is the honest version of what that money pays for — and what it costs you to skip it.
Figures shown are estimates, not guarantees. Running time 3:18. Open the video on Dubb.

Frequently asked
About these numbers
Can I put my own numbers in here?
Not on this page — this page shows the arithmetic at common price points. The interactive version, where you can enter your own home value and mortgage balance, is on our main site. Either way, there is no cost to run your real numbers with us on a 15-minute call, and no email is required to see the result.
Why did you compare against 6%?
Six percent is the arrangement most sellers are quoted for full-service representation, which is why it is the default here. You can change the rate field to any number to see how the math moves.
Does the result include buyer-agent compensation?
Only if you enter it. Buyer-agent compensation, if any, is negotiated separately from a listing fee and may apply in addition. Use the comparison selector if you want to model a total commission instead of a listing commission alone.
Does Right Price take a cut of the savings?
No. Our listing fee is 0% and there is no charge for the coaching, the Triple MLS syndication, or the Oregon forms. There are no fees of any kind for using the Free FSBO Coaching and Marketing Service.
Is this an offer or a quote?
No. It is an estimate for illustration only. It is not a guarantee of savings, of a sale price, or of any outcome, and it is not legal, tax or financial advice.
